Family mountain guesthouse offers accommodation to all fans of winter and summer sports but also to those who seek a calm retreat for their vacation. The guesthouse is located in a calm place in the upper part of the mountain town of Rokytnice nad Jizerou, in the fringe of the Giant Mountains National Park in the altitude of 630 meters above the sea level. The guesthouse is located approximately 200m from the centre of the Upper Square („Horní náměstí”) where you will find restaurants, shops, rentals of sports equipment, fitness centre, sauna, post office, ski schools etc. The ski resort with five ski lifts in lengths 300, 2x330, 750 and 800m suitable for both beginning and advanced skiers is located 100m from the guesthouse. Horní domky ski resort with the longest 3200m ski slope and in total 14.5km of adjusted running tracks is located in the distance of approximately 1km. In the centre of the city, which is accessible by a 20-minute walk, visitors can take advantage of the sports hall, tennis courts, skittle ground, bowling, discos, restaurants, snowtubing and horse-drawn sleigh rides in winter. Arrival and parking: The guesthouse is connected with a maintained road, there is a parking place in the distance of 20m, which is guarded and paid in winter. Bus station (approximately 200m, train station approximately 4km). Skibus station approximately 150m.

The guesthouse will provide you accommodation with half-board (breakfast, dinner)or full board (breakfast, lunch, dinner) – from 15 persons. Non-smoking 1, 2, 3, 4, 5–bed rooms without sanitary facilities (WC, shower shared by the whole floor). 1x apartment with 1 four-bed and 1 two-bed room with own bathroom (WC, shower, full-length bath). Total capacity 50 beds. Bar room with big selection of both alcoholic and soft drinks. Possibility of TV and satellite signals. Non-smoking eating room with Czech domestic cuisine with the capacity of 50 seats. There is also a big garden near the guesthouse with a fireplace and grill. The smallest children have at their disposal a corner for playing in summer (children’s house, sliding place, jumping castle, sand pit etc.).

Skiing and tourism: Ski resort with five ski lifts in lengths 300, 2x330, 750 and 800 m suitable for both beginners and advanced skiers is located 100m from the guesthouse. Horní domky ski resort with the longest 3200m ski slope and in total 14.5km of adjusted running tracks suitable for both advanced and exacting skiers is located in the distance of approximately 1km, as well as two modern chair-lifts (for 4 persons): One will transport you in summer to the proximity of the main tourist routes and cycling routes at the Ručičky crossroads in the Giant Mountains. The second chair-lift will take you in winter to the Lysá Mountain (1,340m), where its terminal (1,315 meters above the sea level) is the starting point of the Giant Mountains cross-country trail (“Krkonošská magistrála”). Skibus will transport you to this resort free of charge (Skibus station is located 150 m from the guesthouse). There are six more pole ski-lifts in the Horní domky ski resort in the total length of 2,456 m. The snowpark is equipped with a small pole ski-lift and several jumps and obstacles. Bikepark ”TÝDA BIKEPARK“ – light track with obstacles and more difficult - downhill – track – both of them are 1.5 km long with 350 m superelevation. Tourist routes start directly at the guesthouse in the direction to Dvoračky, Hutě waterfalls, Elbe spring and many other places that you can conquer on cross-country ski in the winter and on bicycle or on foot in the summer. Further activities and possibilities of spending leisure time in the proximity of the guesthouse Ski school (approximately 30 m) – skiing, snowboarding and carving training for beginners and advanced, cross-country trips with a mountain guide. Snowkiting – Paragliding, the latest adrenaline sports for skiers and snowboarders. Cross-country tracks U Kapličky and Pod Dvoračkama (approximately 500 m) with the possibility of connecting to the Giant Mountains cross-country trail. Sauna, Therapy (approximately 30 m) – treatment by alternative medicine (Aromatherapy, Biotherapy, Reflexology, Reiki Therapy, Acupressure). Go-kart raceway (approximately 50 m), Terrain scooters (approximately 100 m), Grasskiing – skiing on grass (approximately 1.5 km), Sports Hall in size of 18×36 m (approximately 800 m) equipped with fitness centre, sauna and a second gymnasium in size of 12×18 m, which is equipped with trampoline and tools for exercise. It is also possible to use clay tennis courts. Thematic routes – for example you can follow the steps of old smugglers. Busses for cyclists in the Giant Mountains (Cyklobus) - (station approximately 200 m), Harrachov bobsleigh raceway and PROUD rope-climbing centre with the size of 5,500 m2 (approximately 12 km), Bozkov Dolomite Caves (approximately 25 km).
