Location and access
Lenora is located in the valley of Tepla Vltava river in Šumava Mountains, about 15km south of the town Vimperk, at an altitude of 765m a.s.l. Lenora was founded in 1834 as a settlement around the new glassworks. Glassmaking tradition reminds exhibition of historical glass in local Glass museum. The major tourist attractions in the village are public bake bread in the old oven (about 200 meters from our house) and technical monument - covered wooden bridge.
Equipment and services
Newly renovated cottage in Sumava Mountains in the village Lenora. There are 5 rooms, each with its own toilet, shower and TV. There is also a fully equipped shared kitchen, also with LCD TV. Guests can use newly constructed rest area on the first floor, where theay can comfortably sit and watch a new LCD TV. Garden pergola with grill where you can make barbecue (or smoke) and sit even when it rains. Parking about 150m from the house.
The capacity of house is 11 beds and 2 extra beds.

Recreation and services in surroundings
Lenora is an important center for tourists too. It is the starting point for trip to Boubín, Vltava river, cycling trips - path No.33 (Zelezna Ruda - Vyssi Brod). Good train and bus connection. Rover Vltava also offers a variety of fishing experiences (trout and grayling). In winter there is a connection to the cross-country skiing trails.
In winter you can also enjoy near ski resorts in the Czech Republic as well as in Germany and Austria. The most beautiful and largest is the resort Hochficht in Austria - http://www.hochficht.at/
