| Tachov – The whole town is dominated by the Church of the Assumption of Virgin Mary and the Tachov Castle in Classicist style. The city walls are among the most preserved in the Czech Republic. Their present appearance dates from the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries. The fortress surrounds the historic center of the city in the length of about 700 m. Attractions include Princely Avenue and Alley at the mineral spring, founded in 1791 on the orders of the Prince Windischgrätze, with more than 500 memorable rare trees. | | Svetce - In Světce, you can find the Windischgrätz Riding School, built in 1858 - 1861 in the Neo-Romanesque style, the second largest in Central Europe. The building is in extensive reconstruction. The riding school is accessible only when cultural events are taking place. The premises of the former convent of the Paulans are also nearby. | | Pavlův Studenec – border crossing - Pavlův Studenec is today a completely defunct village. It belonged to the largest settlements in the border area of Tachov. |
