Around Rýmařov

Length: 22,8 km Dificulty: medium Circle: YES, Marking: marked The trip starts by the train station in Rýmařov, from there it takes the green track to the square and Horní Město. Along the car road it passes the forest and reaches Skála settlement. There is a refreshment stand and the trip leads from it by the car road to the left and at the end of the settlement it turns right to Huntava river which it follows all the way to Rešov Waterfalls. From there it continues to the left and along the yellow track climbs up to Rešov where it turns behind the old school building to a forest trail (yellow track) to the valley of Oslava river. Then it continues against the flow of the river to Strálecká myslivna (hunting lodge) and then against the flow of Strálecký potok (stream) by the red track to the ruin of a gothic castle Strálek. From the castle there is a signed road all the way back to Rýmařov.		See the map

There are many wooden bridges and stairs around the waterfalls but some places are without safety barriers so it is advisable to look after little children. There are subtle remains of a middle age fortress or small castle above the waterfalls.   Rešov – nowadays mainly a cottage settlement with a nice church.   Strálek –ruin- Castle mentioned already in 1282 ruined in 14th century.
