| Domažlice –The historic core of the city is an urban conservation area. There are a number of Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque and Empire houses in the square with preserved arcades and baroque shields. U Baldovské kaple - the Baldov Hill, crowned by a small Baroque chapel of the Holy Trinity. There are many far-reaching views of Domažlice, especially on the borderlands of the Bohemian Forest with the majestic symbol of Čerchov - the highest peak of the Bohemian Forest (1042 m asl). | | Horšovský Týn – Horsovsky Tyn is now declared an urban conservation area. The State Chateau Horšovský Týn is one of the most important works of Czech artistic legacy in the history of Czech architecture. Other interesting sights include the town houses on the Republic Square, the Town Hall, the Church of St. Peter and Paul - The tower of this church allows visitors a beautiful view of the surrounding region. Church of St. Anne, Archbishop's Church of St. Apolináře and the Capuchin monastery. |
