| Ratibořice - Babiččino údolí (Grandma’s Valley) Tis area was made famous by a beloved Czech author Božena Němcová so much, that it has been called The Grandma’s valley after her most famous book about her grandmother. The learning track is 7,5km long and consists of 18 information points and 7 literary and natural stops. It is possible to ride by bicycle in the whole area. Chateau Ratibořice The original fortress was rebuilt into a baroque summer chateau. In 1825-1826 it has been rebuilt in empire style by the lady K.V.Zaháňská. There are paintings collections, glass, furniture and other artefacts from 19th century located in the top floor. by cycling track number 4057 it is possible to reach a mediaeval ruinVízmburk The castle from 13th century built by a rich aristocrat by the name of Taso. .
| | Slatinský mlýn (mill) - a branch to see the ruin Červená hora Castle,which was built in 13th century and for some time was owned by the Prague archbishop Jan of Jenštejn and his brothers Václav and Pavel. In 1427 the castle was burned and destroyed. The ruins are freely accessible. There are parts of the walls and of the tower. Exposition of war history: wars around Česká Skalice and equipment from Prussian-Austrian war (1866).
