| Havlíčkův Brod - Hašek’s house Exposition borrowed from the museum of Vysočina in Havlíčkův Brod is located in the house under the castle where the famous writer spent his late days and has written his most famous works. The exhibition documents his life and international importance. You can see newspaper clippings, books and the author’s personal items. Plague column A baroque plague column standing at the square was built in 18th century. Havlíček’s house the seat of local museum and a memorial to Karel Havlíček Borovský who was a Czech writer, poet, critic, politician, journalist, and Publisher. | | Lipnice nad Sázavou - castle Lipnice was built in 14th century by Ronovci. It was a guardian castle on the border of Bohemia and Moravia. On 19th September 1869 it burned down and the reconstruction didn’t star before 1913. In 1970s and 80s there was a partial reconstruction and now the castle is managed by the state. You can see an archeological exposition, armory, chapel and cellars. |
