Trip around Ostravice

This trip begins in the famous recreation centre Ostravice from the river Ostravice and a stream Mazak confluence. We set off on a route without tourist sign to the reservoir Sance. Here we meet a yellow path, along a narrow route, shortly via the valley of Recice river. After a few steps we walk up on southwest hill-side Cupl. Heavy gradient leads us to a wide route closely under the peak where we set to the right. Beautiful views of surrounding scenery come along. We slightly drop passing the natural reservation Mazacky Grunik to the saddle Cupl and Kobylana. From this point we continue upward to Kobylance, next we come cross a small route which we follow leftward to the peak of Lysa Hora, where we can get some refreshment or enjoy magnificent views. After this brake we set off along the red sign to the crossroads Lukcinec (green and yellow tourist path). We turn to the left and walk comfortably through a high wood. Than we turn to the right where we cross a wide route and go passing cottages and a mountain meadow. Signs lead along a wide route for a while which goes to the guidepost Butoranka. We still go on red signs to a rest place over a stream Sepetny. From here we drop down back to Ostravice. The length of this trip is approximately 17,5 km.
